Dear students,

For students considering Cross Institute/Non Award Study to achieve credit points for any units of study in their TOP degree, please be aware of the following conditions.

Cross Institute Study (CIS) or Non Award is a way of studying individual units at a different institution concurrent with ongoing study at TOP, if a required subject is not offered by TOP in a current semester.

Credit transfer from CIS will only be recognised if it has been approved by TOP faculty. If you have not gained TOP faculty approval, any units completed through CIS will not be recognised as credit in your TOP degree.

CIS will only be approved if TOP does not offer the required subject during your semester of study. If the unit of study is being offered, your CIS application will not be approved.

For further details, please refer to the Recognition of Prior Learning Policy attached.
