Hello Everyone

We are nearly halfway through the Term. You have apparently been checking out our online learning resources!

Visits to Library electronic resources rose sharply in April from March.

More than 600 visits were recorded in library e-resources visits so far in April, compared to about 450 during the same period in March.

The most visited online library resources are journals, e-books and databases. This suite of resources include essential, relevant, and up-to-date resources on accounting, business, management, marketing, law, and other commerce and accounting related subjects. Videos, webinars, online lectures, videos and case studies are always sought after.

Library Guides, the one-stop shop, subject-focused web pages that lead you to subject-relevant databases, website links, learning resources such as dictionaries, encyclopaedia.  Accounting, management, marketing and law guides are the next most visited.

Open online resources, Academic-English-support, referencing and blogs are popular as well. You  check them out while preparing assignments,  group work and presentations.

These e-resources aside, the Library has a suite of online learning tools, software recommendations for virtual work, study tips, legal posts. There are  academic insights, writing guides, research consultations, online workshops, Ask A Librarian as well.

Most of you (more than 70 percent ) accessed online library resources via desktops such as PC. Others use mobiles and tablets.

Whatever devices you use, remember you can always meet the librarian virtually, attend a  workshop, consultation or tutorial online. There are library activities such as Online Study Support Group, Friends of the Library, Peer Meetings. Feel free to drop us a comment, feedback. Getting in touch has never been easier.

You may be studying remotely. You are never alone!
