IMC is happy to announce students now have an opportunity to gain professional work experience by applying for a Virtual Internship with an Australian or global business.
We know that building your career skills by gaining relevant business experience is one of your top priorities. In association with Virtual Internship Partners Ltd, IMC offers you an opportunity to boost your employability, advance your career plans and gain valuable insights and skills that can be used outside the classroom.
Details of this opportunity:
- Students can apply for a virtual internship that is free of charge
- The virtual internship will provide a work experience in a commercial or not-for-profit organisation
- A virtual internship will be for 20 hours each week for one month in the break between Term 1 and Term 2
- The host organisation and internship provider will support interns through their experience
- Each successful intern will receive a certificate of completion
- Applications for the first intake must be received by Monday 8th May 5pm (AEST)
To be eligible for a virtual internship, an applicant must:
- be a current IMC student (from any IMC campus)
- have a strong academic record
- have completed the required number of credit points (explained below)
