Dear students,

As we continue to closely monitor the outbreak of coronavirus, our first priority is your health and safely.

Understanding the virus and how it spreads is still in early stages however; we would like to ask all students to be mindful of the following steps that we ask you to take:

  • If you have travelled to any part of China, including Hong Kong, recently we ask that you stay home for 14-days from the date of your departure from China and contact us with details of where in China you have travelled to and what date you arrived back in Australia.

  • If you are feeling flu-like symptoms such as fever or respiratory symptoms, including a cough, we encourage you to visit your doctor and inform us.

  • We continue to encourage all students to protect yourself and others by washing your hands with soap and water throughout the day and to wear a face mask when travelling in public areas.

For more information regarding the facts and how to prevent the spread of this virus see the attached fact sheet provided by the Department of Health.

The Australian Government is providing regular updates about the virus hereWe will continue to monitor this situation closely and ensure our students and staff’s safety is maintained.

If you need any further support please contact the Student Services office.
